Question of the Day.
When was the last time you left your comfort zone?
Not rocking the boat and accepting the status quo is ingrained in most of us from day one of life. Change is always uncomfortable. The zone is called the comfort zone for a reason. It is safe and comfortable. That said, it is discomfort that inspires growth.
In nature, when the chick is unable to move—is uncomfortable, it moves, it breaks free and attains a new status. If it doesn’t break free it will ultimately die. As in nature, businesses and businesspeople that refuse to change will ultimately stagnate and others will surpass them in success.
As for me, recently I was asked to co host a nationally streamed tv show. I have to reach out and find guests for the show. That is not my comfort zone at all. I am currently doing it and learning much from it. I have also met more people that I have been able to network with and have created new approaches to my personal coaching and hypnosis business.
Share when you stepped out of your comfort zone. What were the results. Oh, and if you are interested in being a guest on the show, hit me up.
